Library visit

October 12th, 2016 · 9 Comments · Uncategorized

Today the Awesome Authors visited Worksop Library for inspiration! They thought about what genre of books they like to read and spent a long while reading blurbs, looking at front covers and choosing some books to sample. When they had a huge pile each, they found a quiet corner to sit and read the introduction or first chapter to narrow down the choice to take home. These books will provide lots of content, structure and vocabulary for their own writing. What are you reading and what do you think to it so far Authors?

    Hi,

I am very jealous. I love going to the library in Worksop as it is filled with lots to see and do. I love choosing books.

The library was very fun however I kept getting off topic wanting to get books to read for fun. I held myself back and only got one fun book to read. I am really excited to write my own book and I would love any ideas if you could give some. By the way it is going to be a mystery and crime book.

I have been reading Nancy drew and have loved it! Unfortunately I didn’t get the third book but i will go back and get it soon. I think that reading nancy drew books are going to be a great help when I write my book!
